Learn how to safely use, clean, and care for your AmpMug. From waterproofing and charging to temperature protection, here’s everything you need to know for long-lasting performance.
01 Is the AmpMug waterproof?
The mug body is splash-resistant and safe for everyday use.
However, the lid and power bank section are not waterproof — do not submerge them in water or any liquid.
If the lid or charging port accidentally gets wet:
- Stop using the mug immediately.
- Blow out any visible moisture from the ports and seams.
- Allow it to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reconnecting to power.
Using the product while wet may cause short-circuiting or permanent battery damage.
If short-circuited, the built-in protection system will disable the power bank and the LED lights will flash to indicate failure.
02 How do I clean it safely?
Mug body: Hand wash only. Do not use a dishwasher.
Lid: Rinse the sip hole gently with water and wipe the surface using a soft, damp cloth.
Avoid exposing the charging ports directly to running water or submerging the lid.
03 What if the lid or power bank gets damaged or wet?
Stop using the AmpMug immediately if you notice swelling, leakage, or excessive heat.
If the lid has been submerged, ensure it is completely dry before reconnecting to power.

04 How does heat affect the AmpMug?
The AmpMug lid includes a smart temperature protection system to ensure safe battery performance.
- When the internal temperature exceeds 60 °C, the battery protection circuit will automatically activate.
- The power function will temporarily shut down, and the LED indicator lights will flash to signal overheating protection mode.
- Once the temperature drops to a safe range, normal operation will automatically resume.
Important:
Do not pour liquids hotter than 80 °C and immediately close the lid.
High heat can raise the internal battery temperature beyond safe levels, triggering shutdown or potential electronic damage.
